ISS New Zealand Supports Cure Kids

The ISS New Zealand team are committed to supporting Cure Kids - an organisation focussed on raising funds for New Zealand-based medical research to help save the lives of children diagnosed with serious, life-impacting health conditions.
Since 2018 ISS New Zealand has been working with their charity partner, Cure Kids, to help raise money for vital medical research to help save, improve and extend the lives of kids living with serious illnesses and conditions. This resonating partnership supports our large healthcare footprint in New Zealand, where our service delivery professionals have the privilege of daily interactions with patients and families affected by serious health conditions. ISS are proud to be affiliated with Cure Kids in support of the best research possible to make a measurable difference to the health and well-being of children in New Zealand.

In 1989 Cure Kids launched their flagship and well known kids fundraiser Red Nose Day. This annual appeal, held each September, raises much-needed funding for treatment, preventative strategies and the hope of one day finding a cure, through the selling of the iconic ‘red nose’.

Last year ISS’ team from the Auckland office, as well as ISS staff at Shore City Shopping Centre, Dunedin Hospital and Waikato Hospital, raised over $1,600 for this important cause. This year, the ISS New Zealand team dedicated themselves to a number of activities where the team promoted Cure Kid’s digital storybook app to our staff – a new donation mechanism to help raise funds. On 27th September, several ISS staff also volunteered their time for ‘Whacky Wheels 2019’ in Britomart, Auckland. This event involved stationary bike races and other fun activities, which raised over $25k for Cure Kids. Our staff helped with bucket collections, sold red noses and helped the organisers.

ISS New Zealand look forward to continuing to support big research for little lives. For further information or to support Cure Kids through donating, fundraising or volunteering please visit the Cure Kids website.
