ISS Picks Up Additional Services in New IFS Contract with Te Papa Tongarewa

ISS Facility Services has retained a major contract with the national museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa in Wellington. Our new five year contract sees us retain exisiting cleaning services and welcomes new services at the high-profile museum.

ISS has worked alongside Te Papa since 2008. As a committed cleaning services partner, we have aligned our contract goals with Te Papa’s Vision to ‘change hearts, minds, and lives’. ISS Chief Operating Officer NZ - Paul Archer, comments: ISS has always worked to help Te Papa achieve their vision. We are highly conscious of the important role we play in protecting important museum exhibitions and presenting Te Papa in the best way for visitors.”

Throughout our nine year tenure, ISS has been a reliable, collaborative partner, benefiting our client with many innovations in cleaning excellence and sustainability. Our proven expertise and understanding of this unique museum environment facilitated our retention of this prized key account.

In the new contract with Te Papa, ISS has acquired additional services through an integrated contract model, including cleaning, grounds, hygiene, pest control, laundry, plant hire and maintenance, as well as exterior building clean services. ISS has considerable expertise in managing IFS accounts, and provided Te Papa with robust management processes and an experienced management team to operate the contract. Paul Archer, continues: This is a fantastic example of building organic growth within an existing contract, to realise an efficient Integrated Facility Services (IFS) model”.

ISS has extensive experience in providing a full range of services to prominent museums across the globe. We support over 40 museums, including the Porche Museum in Germany, the IKEA museum in Sweden and the Mémorial de la Shoah in Paris, to name just a few. Closer to home, ISS are proud to provide services to S.A Museum and W.A Museum in Australia.

ISS is dedicated to strengthening our partnership with Te Papa Tongarewa over the next five years, to ensure the ongoing success of one of the nation’s most iconic tourist attractions.
