ISS Pacific takes action to progress gender equality across its multi-sector workforce

ISS Pacific pledges commitment to the United Nation's Women’s Empowerment Principles.

ISS Pacific CEO Stuart Rose signed the CEO Statement for the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles (the Principles).

Signing a commitment to the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles is an exciting milestone for the business and strengthens ISS Pacific’s commitment to progressing gender equality in the workplace, community and the industries we service.

This step builds upon ISS’ longstanding commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and will guide us as we move towards our target of at least 40 percent gender balance in leadership roles by 2024.

ISS Pacific CEO Stuart Rose said, “I am pleased our business is in a position to make way for accelerated progress in this important initiative.”

“This is an exciting point in our cultural transformation and we welcome the opportunity to strive for excellence in gender equity. I challenge every employee to be a change agent as we embed the Women’s Empowerment Principles into our organisational DNA and ensure we move beyond aspiration to achievement,” Mr Rose continued.

Our firm leadership endorsement encompasses core business practices, investment in talent and capability, equitable policy and practice and networks to advance women within our workplace.

The UN Women’s Empowerment Principles are a foundation that will underpin our ongoing commitment to an inclusive workplace, where we continue to strive for excellence in gender equity.

The ISS Pacific Statement is publicly available on the Women’s Empowerment Principles website - www.weps.org.
